Most calculators online are built on averages. They can’t properly account for the details that often drive outcomes in Texas cases, such as:
- How fault is assigned when more than one party may be involved (including vehicle, property, or employer-related negligence)
- Whether medical records support the timing and cause of death after an accident or injury
- Local evidence realities—what was captured by witnesses, cameras, or available documentation after an incident
- Texas procedural deadlines that affect what can be filed and when
A “range” may sound reassuring, but without a legal review of liability and damages proof, it often misleads families into thinking they’ve already identified the case value.
