Online tools may ask for age, income, and “damages multipliers.” But in real wrongful death matters, insurers look harder at issues like:
- Who was actually at fault at the time of the crash or incident (and whether fault is shared)
- How clearly medical records link the original injury to death
- Whether witnesses and accident evidence still exist (especially where scenes are cleared quickly)
- What insurance coverage limits apply to the responsible party
In a local context—like collisions on state highways or incidents near busy public areas—liability can be more complicated than it first appears. A calculator can’t weigh credibility, resolve inconsistencies, or evaluate comparative fault.
