Most calculators online work like a spreadsheet: age, income, dependents, and a generic multiplier. In real Lebanon wrongful death matters, the numbers only matter once the law can be applied to the facts.
A true settlement value depends on:
- Whether fault is provable (and how comparative responsibility may be argued)
- Whether the death is legally connected to the incident (medical causation is often disputed)
- What evidence still exists—especially when an accident involves weather, road conditions, or property maintenance
- Insurance and coverage limits that may control how much can be paid
A calculator can’t measure those realities. What it can do is help you understand what categories of loss your lawyer will need to document.
