Online tools can look helpful, but they usually assume a “standard” set of facts. Benton cases rarely fit that mold. Settlement value tends to rise or fall based on what can be proven—especially in incidents involving:
- Traffic collisions (lane changes, turn conflicts, impaired or distracted driving, or vehicle malfunction)
- Work-related deaths (construction sites, industrial work, logistics, and employer safety practices)
- Property and premises hazards (parking lots, sidewalks, lighting, or maintenance issues)
A calculator can’t measure things like how convincingly fault is supported by witness testimony, whether police documentation aligns with the medical timeline, or how insurance coverage limits affect negotiation.
