Most online tools estimate portions of a claim—typically medical costs, wage-related benefits, and sometimes impairment-related value. That can help you understand the categories involved.
But calculators can’t see the details that Utah decision-makers focus on, such as:
- Whether the injury was described clearly and consistently from the start
- Whether treatment records match your reported symptoms and limitations
- Whether your work duties in your specific job setting align with the type of injury claimed
- Whether the condition is supported as work-caused (or work-aggravated) by medical reasoning
In other words, two people can enter the same calculator inputs and get very different real-world results depending on the strength of the paperwork.
