Most settlement calculators online are built for general scenarios. They may take inputs like wage history, medical treatment, and time off work to produce a rough range.
In practice, Ohio workers’ compensation outcomes are driven by evidence:
- what happened and when it was reported,
- what doctors document about diagnosis and work restrictions,
- whether the injury is accepted as work-related,
- and how your function changes after treatment.
So while a calculator can help you ask better questions, it can’t replace the reality of your claim—particularly if there are disputes about causation, extent of impairment, or whether restrictions match your job duties.
