East Orange is dense, fast-paced, and full of workplaces where injuries happen in everyday ways: warehouse and delivery work, construction and renovation sites, hospital and clinic support roles, retail staffing, and service jobs with tight schedules. That matters because many claim value differences come down to evidence that is created quickly—or missed—during busy periods.
In practice, calculators don’t “see”:
- how soon you reported the incident,
- whether supervisors documented the job duties accurately,
- whether treatment notes in your file consistently describe your work restrictions,
- whether your commute and physical demands for your role were realistically captured.
When those pieces are missing or inconsistent, the insurer may argue that your condition isn’t fully tied to work—or that disability is less severe than you say.
