Many calculators assume a “typical” workplace injury and then estimate benefits based on broad variables. In Moscow, that “typical” scenario often misses key facts, such as:
- How your job duties fit your limitations (especially for people working in construction, facilities, landscaping, warehouses, or local industrial and manufacturing settings)
- How quickly the injury was reported and documented—missed or delayed reporting can become a dispute point
- Whether symptoms were consistent with the mechanism of injury (for example, lifting, repetitive work, slip-and-fall, or vehicle-related incidents)
- Whether the insurer focused on pre-existing conditions or alternative causes
A calculator can’t see the incident report, the diagnostic imaging, the work restrictions your doctor recommends, or how Idaho’s claim rules are applied to your specific file.
