Most calculators are built on broad assumptions: average wages, generic injury patterns, and simplified timelines. But workers’ comp claims are highly fact-driven, and Rome employers and insurers often dispute the details—especially when:
- The injury involves a gradual condition (neck/back pain from repeated lifting, shoulder strain, etc.)
- The medical records don’t clearly connect symptoms to the job
- There are gaps in treatment or delayed reporting
- Your restrictions make it hard to return to the same role
A calculator can’t see your incident report, your treatment notes, or whether your work restrictions line up with the job you actually performed on the day of injury. That’s why your “estimated range” should be treated as preliminary, not predictive.
