Most online calculators are built around broad assumptions: wages, medical treatment, and some estimate of impairment or disability. In Florida workers’ compensation, those inputs matter, but the final outcome depends heavily on what’s documented in your claim file.
A calculator can’t review:
- the specific medical findings from your treating providers
- whether the injury description matches the work incident you reported
- whether your job duties and restrictions line up with your medical limitations
- whether disputes exist about causation or whether you reached medical stability
So treat any estimate as a range for conversation, not a prediction of what you’ll receive.
