In cities with constant movement, it’s easy for documentation to get out of sync. For example, you might:
- Delay treatment because you’re working around a schedule
- Miss follow-up visits during busy periods
- Have symptom flare-ups after a shift or weekend activity
- Communicate with an employer/insurer before you’ve clearly documented your medical condition
None of that automatically kills a claim, but Florida insurers often look closely at timing. If there’s a gap between the incident, reporting, and medical findings, the insurer may argue the injury isn’t connected to work.
That’s why a calculator shouldn’t be treated like a forecast. It can’t measure credibility issues like documentation timing, consistency of symptoms, or whether medical providers link your condition to the work event.
