Most calculators online try to estimate settlement value by using broad inputs like wages and injury type. That can help you understand the shape of the process.
But a calculator can’t accurately account for the details that matter in California claims, such as:
- Whether the injury is accepted as work-related early on
- The timeline between the incident and when medical care is documented
- How your work restrictions are described by your treating providers
- Whether your condition is considered temporary versus permanent under California standards
In other words: a calculator may give you a range, but it can’t replace a review of your claim file and medical records.
