Online tools are built to estimate. They may use your injury severity, medical costs, and time missed from work to generate a range. That can be useful when you’re trying to understand the scale of your losses.
But in truck cases, the “missing piece” is often proof. In El Campo, we see claims hinge on questions like:
- Was the truck’s conduct the main cause of the crash? (speed, lane position, braking, following distance)
- Are your injuries medically connected to the crash?
- Did more than one party share responsibility? (driver, trucking company, maintenance provider, cargo/loader)
- What insurance coverage applies? (including commercial policy limits)
A calculator can’t verify those facts. That’s why it should be treated like a planning tool—not a promise.
