Online tools can’t see the real story behind your wreck—who actually had the last clear chance to avoid the collision, what the truck was doing, and whether your injuries are supported by objective medical findings.
In Michigan, insurers often scrutinize whether injuries were caused by the crash and whether treatment decisions were reasonable. That means the strongest “inputs” for any calculator are the same things that strengthen your demand:
- Emergency and follow-up medical records
- Imaging results, diagnosis history, and treatment plans
- Proof of wage loss and work limitations
- Photos/video from the scene (including traffic conditions at the time)
- Any police report findings tied to the crash narrative
If you use a settlement calculator, treat the output as a rough planning tool, not a prediction.
