Most calculators work by prompting you to enter rough figures such as:
- medical costs (to date and projected)
- time missed from work
- property damage
- limitations caused by injuries
That can be useful for planning. Still, truck cases often don’t behave like passenger-car claims, and a calculator can’t automatically account for:
- disputes about whether your injuries were caused by the crash
- evidence gaps (common when there’s an urgent cleanup or delayed documentation)
- multiple responsible parties (driver, trucking company, maintenance vendor, or others)
- policy limits and how California insurers handle high-exposure claims
In other words, treat any calculator output as a starting point for questions—not a guarantee.
