Golden Valley sits next to major traffic funnels—I-394, Highway 100, and Highway 55—and many crashes happen right where local streets meet faster moving routes. In our area, truck accidents commonly come from everyday situations such as:
- Merges and lane changes near highway entrances/exits where speed differences are sharp
- Stop-and-go congestion that increases rear-end and underride risk when a truck can’t stop quickly
- Delivery and service vehicles cutting through residential corridors to avoid highway backups
- Commercial traffic near industrial and business areas where trucks are turning wide, backing, or loading
Even a “low-speed” impact can cause major harm when the other vehicle is a commercial truck.
