Most online tools are built on generic assumptions. They may ask you to plug in injury severity, hospital time, or missed work—then spit out a range.
But in real life, especially after a head injury, the outcome is driven more by proof and risk than by a simple formula. In Oklahoma, insurance adjusters commonly evaluate:
- Whether your symptoms were reported promptly and consistently after the incident
- Whether treatment followed reasonable medical recommendations
- Whether your functional limits (work, driving safety, daily tasks) are documented
- Whether the other side has arguments about causation or pre-existing issues
A calculator can be a starting point for budgeting, but it usually can’t account for the specific way Oklahoma insurers challenge TBI evidence.
