Most online TBI payout calculators use simplified assumptions. In real cases, especially those involving busy streets, school zones, commuting routes, and construction-impacted traffic, valuation depends on details that a calculator can’t “see,” such as:
- how the injury happened (and what evidence exists in Michigan to support it)
- how quickly you were evaluated after the head impact
- whether symptoms were documented consistently over time
- how the injury affected your ability to work, drive, attend school, or complete household responsibilities
In other words, a calculator can help you think in broad ranges, but it can’t replace a legal and medical review of your specific records.
