A calculator can be a starting point, but it usually can’t reflect the realities that show up in local injury claims—like:
- Traffic-related impact patterns (rear-end collisions, lane-change crashes, and pedestrian/vehicle conflicts at high-visibility crossings)
- Delayed symptom reporting after adrenaline fades—common when people try to “push through” work or errands
- Competing accident narratives (especially when multiple drivers or pedestrians are involved)
- Gaps in documented follow-up due to scheduling challenges, transportation limits, or difficulty finding specialists
In other words, a generic estimate often misses what actually moves cases in negotiation: how clearly your medical records tie your symptoms to the incident and how well your functional limits are proven.
