Many online tools promise a range based on simplified inputs like hospital time or diagnosis labels. But after a TBI, the real valuation question is usually more specific:
- What symptoms persisted after the accident? (headaches, dizziness, cognitive fog, sleep disruption, mood changes)
- How clearly are those symptoms documented?
- What proof ties the symptoms to the specific crash or incident?
- How much has your daily life and ability to work changed?
In local injury claims, insurers often argue that symptoms were pre-existing, unrelated, or not severe enough to justify the losses you’re claiming. A generic calculator can’t account for the evidence that matters most in negotiation.
