The first priority is medical care, not paperwork. But once you’re under treatment, it helps to start building a clear record—because product cases depend on details that can fade.
Start a “talc exposure folder” (digital or paper) with:
- Names and types of talc-containing products you used (baby powder, body powder, cosmetic powders)
- Approximate years of use and how often you applied it
- Where you purchased the product (store name, brand, or online retailer if you remember)
- Any packaging photos, receipts, or labels you still have
- Your diagnosis paperwork and pathology/testing results
If you’re dealing with treatment decisions while trying to reconstruct history, legal help can reduce the burden of organizing everything at once.
