Before anything else, follow your clinician’s guidance and keep all follow-ups, lab results, pathology reports, and imaging. In Idaho, missing or inconsistent medical documentation can slow down how quickly your claim can be evaluated—especially when the timeline involves long-term use.
Then, while memories are still fresh, gather what you can about the product exposure:
- Product name/brand from any remaining container, label, or photos
- Approximate purchase years (even ranges like “early 2000s” help)
- Where it was used (nursery, bathroom, personal care routine, etc.)
- Who used it and how often
If you no longer have the packaging, that does not automatically end your options. Your lawyer can help reconstruct the product trail using records you may still be able to obtain.
