In product-injury matters, the first decisions can shape what evidence is available later. If you’re dealing with a diagnosis that your doctors believe may be linked to talc exposure, focus on two tracks right away:
- Stabilize your medical situation. Keep follow-up appointments, ask your provider what testing supports the diagnosis, and request copies of records and pathology reports when available.
- Document the product story while it’s still clear. Think about which brands you used in your household, roughly when you used them, and what the product was used for (baby care, sweat/moisture control, friction, cosmetics, or grooming).
If you still have packaging, photos, or containers, keep them. If you don’t, write down as much as you can remember now—because reconstructing a household routine is often the hardest part months or years later.
