Online tools usually rely on broad assumptions (age brackets, generalized impairment ranges, and average treatment timelines). They can’t account for factors that often play out in the Salt Lake Valley, such as:
- Long drives to medical appointments and the ongoing need for specialized transportation
- Delays in getting follow-up care due to scheduling, referrals, or complicated treatment plans
- Home/work limitations that emerge after the “acute” phase—when you realize what daily life requires
- Evidence gaps after busy roadway incidents, especially if footage or witness info isn’t preserved quickly
A calculator may offer a rough range. But it won’t tell you what your specific claim could be worth based on the medical record you develop and the defenses you may face.
