In our area, many catastrophic spinal injuries involve situations where liability can be contested—such as multi-car crashes on busy corridors, high-impact collisions during shift changes, or incidents that happen during routine commuting.
That means the settlement value usually turns on questions like:
- What exactly caused the injury? (and how clearly is that shown in ER records, imaging, and follow-up notes)
- How promptly was care obtained?
- Whether the injury worsened complications that developed after the incident
- Whether the injury’s impact on function is consistently documented over time
A calculator can’t verify those facts. A well-prepared claim can.
