Most online tools are built for quick estimates. They may ask about age, time in treatment, and injury severity to generate a rough range.
In practice, the calculator output can be misleading if:
- your medical records show complications or additional procedures later,
- your functional limitations changed over time (common after rehab starts), or
- liability is disputed and evidence is incomplete.
A better way to think about it: use the calculator to identify which categories you’ll need to prove—then focus your effort locally on building the documentation that insurers and courts expect.
