Most online tools are built to output a range using simplified inputs—age, time hospitalized, and an assumed severity category. Those numbers can be directionally useful, but they often miss the elements that matter most in Ohio claims:
- Whether the injury mechanism matches the neurological findings documented in records.
- Whether liability is shared (common in multi-vehicle crashes and complex intersection scenarios).
- Whether future care estimates reflect long-term mobility changes and home support needs.
- Whether medical causation is contested (a frequent issue when symptoms evolve over time).
A calculator can’t review your imaging, reconcile conflicting notes, or evaluate how an insurer will react to the evidence. A lawyer can.
