Most online calculators produce an estimate based on simplified inputs: injury severity, time in treatment, and general categories of damages. That’s helpful for planning, but it’s not the same as a claim valuation based on:
- the documentation supporting neurological findings
- the timeline linking the incident to diagnosis and worsening symptoms
- proof of future care needs (equipment, therapy, assistance)
- evidence of impact on work capacity and daily life
In other words, an online calculator can’t weigh disputes about causation or explain how Illinois insurance adjusters evaluate risk when liability is contested.
