Online tools can be useful for rough budgeting, but they usually can’t account for the factors that matter most in spinal cord cases:
- How your specific neurological findings evolve (incomplete vs. complete injury, expected progression, complications)
- Whether treatment in the months after the incident was consistent and medically necessary
- How quickly symptoms were evaluated after a Dixon-area crash or fall
- Whether the record supports causation—meaning the injury is tied to the event, not a preexisting condition or unrelated issue
A calculator also can’t predict how insurers will respond when liability is disputed or when they believe future care costs are overstated.
Bottom line: treat any “settlement calculator” as a starting point, not a forecast.
