In smaller cities and surrounding areas, the same themes show up repeatedly in serious injury claims:
- Medical timelines matter. When symptoms are reported quickly and consistently, it’s easier to connect the injury to the incident.
- Treatment continuity matters. Gaps in rehab, missed follow-ups, or inconsistent reporting can become leverage for an insurer.
- Causation is scrutinized. Defense teams may argue that the injury was pre-existing or unrelated—especially when imaging or specialist review arrives later.
That’s why a calculator can be a starting point, but it can’t replace the work of building an evidence-based damages story.
