Many Wasco residents don’t think of themselves as “industrial chemical exposure” victims. Instead, the concern often begins with normal life patterns, such as:
- Property and landscaping maintenance where weed control products were used seasonally
- Agricultural-adjacent exposure for workers and family members who spent time outdoors near treated areas
- Residue carried home on work boots, clothing, or tools after jobsite application
- Assisting with spraying or cleanup after an application (even briefly)
When exposure is part of routine, it’s easy to underestimate how much documentation matters later. Photos of product labels, dates of application, and records from employers or property managers can make the difference between a claim that’s speculation and one supported by evidence.
