Most online calculators ask for a few basic categories such as medical expenses, missed pay, and a general injury level. That may sound helpful at first, but Idaho claims can turn on details those tools do not capture. A person in a rural part of the state may have delayed specialist care because of distance, weather, or provider availability. An insurance company may then try to use that delay against them, even though the reason had little to do with whether the injury was real. A calculator usually cannot account for those realities.
Another issue is that Idaho follows legal rules that can affect whether compensation is reduced or barred depending on fault. That means the value of a claim is not just about your treatment bills. It may also depend on whether the other side argues you were partly responsible, whether the evidence supports your version of events, and whether the available insurance is enough to cover the harm. A generic formula may produce a number, but it cannot tell you how those Idaho-specific issues may shape the outcome of a real case.
