Many online tools ask for a few inputs—medical costs, lost wages, injury type—and then generate a rough number. That’s useful for budgeting, but it won’t account for the evidence your insurer will review in a Fort Atkinson claim, such as:
- Intersection and turning-lane disputes (common in commuter traffic)
- Low-visibility conditions (dusk, glare, weather)
- Conflicting statements between drivers or witnesses
- Whether treatment followed the timeline insurers expect in Wisconsin
In other words, a calculator can’t evaluate whether the other driver’s version is consistent with photos, statements, or the way your injuries developed.
