Most online tools estimate settlement value by using inputs like:
- injury severity (based on what you enter)
- medical bills and expected future care
- lost wages
- general assumptions about pain and suffering
But a tool can’t review:
- imaging reports (and whether they support the diagnosis)
- the timing between the crash and your first documented symptoms
- whether your treatment plan matches what doctors said you needed
- whether the other driver’s statement lines up with the physical evidence
In Texas, insurers frequently scrutinize consistency. If your medical documentation is thin early on, or if there are gaps in treatment without a clear explanation, offers can stall or drop. A calculator can’t account for those gaps—but your case will.
