Most calculators work from a simplified formula: they take your injury “type,” your medical bills, lost wages, and sometimes the length of treatment, then output a rough range. That can be useful when you’re trying to plan—especially early on.
But calculators generally can’t see the things that matter most in Mason cases:
- Whether Ohio traffic laws and crash facts line up (for example, failure to yield, unsafe lane movement, or speeding allegations)
- How quickly you sought treatment and whether your records consistently describe the symptoms
- Whether your medical care matched the injuries shown in imaging and follow-up notes
- Whether the insurer argues comparative fault based on what they believe happened in the seconds before impact
In other words, a calculator can’t evaluate the strength of the story your documents tell.
