Dublin’s road environment is unique enough that two cases can look similar at first but settle very differently:
- High-speed merges and commuting corridors: Fault disputes often hinge on who had the better opportunity to avoid the collision and whether lane positioning was reasonable.
- Busy signalized intersections: Even a few seconds can matter—especially when one driver claims they had a green light while the rider asserts a turning/entering maneuver created the hazard.
- Construction and traffic shifts: Temporary lane changes, detours, and inconsistent signage can create confusion. If the roadway was altered, liability may extend beyond just the driver.
- Seasonal weather and visibility: Ohio rain, glare, and winter transition conditions can affect stopping distances and perception—often becoming central to arguments about “reasonable” driving.
A national calculator can’t read dash-cam footage from the specific moment the crash occurred, evaluate whether the roadway was under construction, or weigh credibility when statements conflict.
