Tools that estimate a motorcycle accident settlement can be a starting point, but they often assume facts that don’t match real Michigan claims. In practice, insurers look closely at things that can strongly change the outcome, such as:
- How Michigan fault is argued (including whether you’re alleged to have contributed to the crash)
- Whether the injury pattern matches the crash described in the police report and eyewitness statements
- How quickly treatment began and whether your records show consistent symptoms
- Whether the other driver’s statement conflicts with photos, video, or timing evidence
A calculator can’t review your medical history, confirm causation, or evaluate whether your evidence will hold up to an adjuster’s review. In other words, it may give a range, but it can’t tell you whether your case is headed toward a fair settlement or a lowball offer.
