Most calculators ask for inputs like:
- injury severity and diagnosis
- medical expenses so far
- lost income
- expected ongoing treatment
They then generate an estimated range based on averages from other cases. That can be useful when you’re trying to gauge whether an early offer seems plausible.
Still, a calculator can’t review:
- your imaging, treatment notes, and diagnosis timeline
- whether the other driver’s version of events matches physical evidence
- how Michigan insurance rules and fault arguments may apply to your situation
In practice, two riders with similar injuries can end up with very different settlement outcomes depending on documentation and liability evidence.
