Most online tools are built on generalized assumptions: broad injury categories, estimated ranges, and simplified inputs. They can be useful to gauge whether a claim might exist and what kinds of losses are typically considered.
But a calculator can’t review what Athens residents have to prove in court:
- Whether the provider failed to meet the Texas standard of care
- Whether that breach caused your harm (not just coincided with it)
- Whether your documentation supports the timeline and treatment decisions
In other words, even if a tool suggests a number, the case often turns on medical records, expert opinions, and how causation is explained—not only on how severe the outcome looks.
