Online tools can help you think in categories—medical bills, therapy, lost wages, and pain impacts. But a calculator can’t “see” the pieces that matter most in real negotiations:
- what Ohio medical records actually show (timelines, nursing notes, test results)
- whether the care fell below the accepted standard of care
- whether the mistake caused the specific harm you suffered (causation)
- how strongly the defense can dispute damages or blame “progression of disease”
In practice, two people with similar diagnoses can have very different outcomes depending on documentation quality and whether experts can connect the alleged lapse to the injury.
