Most calculators spread a wide range based on general injury categories. That can give you a starting point, but it usually can’t account for details that matter a lot in Ohio litigation, such as:
- whether the provider’s actions fell below the Ohio standard of care for the situation
- whether medical causation can be proven (not just that you were harmed)
- how your records explain (or don’t explain) the decision-making at each step
- how damages are supported—especially future treatment, ongoing impairment, and documented work impact
In other words, a calculator can’t “read” your chart, weigh credibility, or predict how a court and jury would interpret competing expert opinions.
