Most online calculators are built from generalized assumptions. They may ask about injury type, treatment duration, or medical bills—but they can’t see the details that matter most in a real New Jersey case, such as:
- whether the provider breached the New Jersey standard of care for that setting
- whether the mistake caused your specific harm (causation is often heavily disputed)
- how consistent your medical records are across visits and providers
- whether experts can explain the link between what happened and what followed
In other words, a calculator can offer a starting range, but it can’t account for the evidence New Jersey insurers and defense teams focus on.
