Most calculators are built for “average” scenarios. Real malpractice value is rarely average. In Casa Grande, we commonly see valuation disputes come down to issues like:
- Records spread across multiple providers (primary care, urgent care, imaging centers, specialists, and hospital systems)
- Timing gaps—missed follow-ups, delayed referrals, or documentation that arrives later than expected
- Causation complexity—when the defense argues the harm was progressing naturally or was unrelated to the alleged error
- Hard-to-calculate impacts—work restrictions for physically demanding jobs in the region, ongoing medication costs, or long-term therapy needs
A calculator can’t review operative reports, lab trends, imaging interpretations, discharge instructions, or the exact standard of care that applied at the time.
