You’ll find plenty of online tools that claim they can estimate a dog bite settlement. They can’t account for what usually matters most in Peekskill cases—like:
- Who was nearby and where the incident happened (sidewalks, apartment common areas, driveways, or near a storefront)
- How quickly you got medical care after the bite
- Whether the bite involved a child, a pedestrian, or someone walking a route routinely
- Whether there’s proof the dog was properly restrained and warnings were provided
In other words, a “range” isn’t the same thing as what New York insurers will actually argue about liability and damages.
