Online tools can be a starting point, but they can’t see what your insurer will focus on. In Pella, claims commonly turn on:
- How the dog was controlled at the time (leash, fencing, supervision, escape risk)
- Whether the incident occurred in a spot where pedestrians or visitors are reasonably present
- What your medical records show about the severity and expected recovery
- Whether the owner knew or should have known about risk based on prior behavior
A calculator also can’t measure credibility—who witnessed what, whether the account matches the timeline, and whether photos and treatment notes line up with the injury.
