A calculator can’t see the same things an insurer and a California personal injury attorney will review, such as:
- Whether your injury required stitches, imaging, or follow-up wound care
- Whether the medical record clearly links your treatment to the bite date
- Whether the dog owner’s control and supervision were reasonable under the circumstances
- Whether there are witnesses (common in busy residential streets, parks, and shared neighborhood areas)
In practice, two people can have similar bite locations and completely different outcomes depending on the medical notes, photographs, and consistency of the timeline.
