Converse residents see chemical exposure issues in a range of everyday and job-related settings. While every case is different, these are common patterns we investigate:
- Industrial and maintenance work near warehouses, shops, and job sites where cleaning chemicals, degreasers, solvents, and industrial products are used.
- Apartment or home remediation after leaks, odors, or pest/mold treatments—especially when ventilation and PPE (personal protective equipment) aren’t adequate.
- Landscaping and pest-control treatments where residents or visitors may be exposed to concentrated chemicals, fumes, or residues.
- Construction and contractor work—including drywall repair, adhesive removal, paint stripping, or “turnover” cleanings—where products may be used indoors or in partially enclosed spaces.
In Converse, timing matters: symptoms may appear immediately (burning, coughing, breathing trouble) or develop as you’re exposed repeatedly during a shift, a cleanup window, or ongoing maintenance.
