Many chemical exposure claims in our region come with a familiar pattern:
- Symptoms start later than people expect. You may feel “fine” at first, then develop coughing, chest tightness, headaches, dizziness, rashes, or worsening skin sensitivity.
- Multiple parties are involved. A job site may use contractors; a landlord may hire a remediation company; a workplace may rely on safety vendors or cleaners.
- Documentation disappears quickly. Safety logs, incident reports, and product information can be hard to obtain once the situation is “handled.”
In Athens, that timing matters. If you wait, it becomes harder to link the exposure to your injuries—especially when employers, property managers, or insurers move quickly to close the matter.
