In our area, chemical exposure often traces back to real-world situations like:
- Industrial and maintenance work tied to production, equipment cleaning, or repairs where ventilation and protective gear are critical.
- Residential and small commercial remediation, including cleanup after leaks, spills, or improper handling of cleaners and solvents.
- Construction and contractor activities, where workers may be exposed to coatings, adhesives, curing chemicals, or improperly managed waste.
- Vehicle-related and shop incidents, such as exposure during detailing, fuel/solvent handling, or repairs where fumes accumulate in enclosed spaces.
Even if the incident seems “contained,” airborne vapors and contaminated surfaces can still expose bystanders, roommates, co-workers, and family members.
