Burn injuries are not one-size-fits-all. Two people can have the same “percentage” of burn and still face very different outcomes based on:
- Where the burn is (hands, face, joints, or areas that affect daily function)
- Whether there’s inhalation injury or smoke exposure (common in fire-related incidents)
- Whether treatment escalates to grafting, scar revision, or long-term therapy
- Whether scarring causes real-world limitations—work restrictions, mobility changes, or emotional distress
A generic tool often can’t account for those Missouri City-specific realities, such as how quickly you need to return to work after a heat/flame incident, or how an injury affects your ability to manage household responsibilities in a suburban setting.
